Sea-water intake for the pilot desalination plants of the institute, composed of intake chamber, two PE 12-inch seabed intake lines each of 4 km length, seawater lifting station at the coastal-line, which is feeding the seawater to the research pilot plants inside the research institute.

Engineering service: 

• Hydraulic design.
• Civil design of lift station and seabed chamber.
• Mechanical design works including pipelines and
  seawater pumps.
• Electrical design works including power supply,
  control system and area lighting.
